I've just received my old school 70's ones and plugged them in my Fiio X1. Astonishing good sound (tested with the last album "Momentum" from Soulpersona, and the soundtrack from the film "Interstellar"). I like them more than the Porta Pro's and even the Fostex Th7. Only comfort is not that great, but it's due to the construction. Very happy with this buy !

Finally broke down and decided to try a pair of these as I saw them on the for sale forums. Initial impressions are quite positive, and I'll be looking forward to giving them a bit of eartime. They have a little more clamp than I would have expected, and after 7 or so hours might be time to take a break from them. Time to grab the porta pros, and refresh my memory.
