I started a post on here that I am leaving behind. I was considering the Bose QC 15 to replace my BEATS because the beats are horrible headphones, but I am now on a list of 4. Help me decide because I am leaving for a trip and need peoples opinions:
 
 
Ok. So I am down to 4 final headphones.
 
1. Senn HD598
2. Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro
3. Skullcandy Mixmasters
4. Audio Technica ATH-ESW9A
 
I want good bass, Good Noise Isolation, And overall good sound. I am sick of the Dre's. The Beats line is so terrible that I feel bad for even considering them. huh
 
I mainly listen to Rap, HipHop, Dubstep, Trance, Metal and 80's hair metal.

Well, you can pretty much remove the Sennheisers from that list, they are open so don't isolate any noise at all.

Have you checked out the HD25-1 or the V-Moda M-80?
 
There's also the new HA-S500 which people are claiming are better than all of the above, but I remain skeptical.

+1 for vmoda m80/ lp2 and hd25, I'm looking for about the same type of headphones / earphones and these are on my short list

M-80 or M-100 (the M-100 will be released soon, and trust me, it's worth waiting for)
