Thank you everyone for your comments and suggestions. I ended up buying a pair of used, but in fantastic condition HiFiMAN HE-500 headphones.

I own the Denon AH-A100, the Grado 80 and the Grado 325.
The comments above are correct on the Grado 325's. They are awesome. I have trained as a symphonic composer and the 325's are about the best for reproducing instruments accurately. The only gripe I have is that they are not very comfortable around the ears. I have tested the Senns and AKG. I will most likely get the AKG K712 Pro next.
