I'm thinking about buying a pair of new headphones, and I've heard very good things about the Creative Aurvana Live!, especially for its price range. I don't want to spend over 65 pounds but would like some help and recommendations on a pair of headphones. I mainly listen to pop and instrumental music, but good bass is still appreciated. For my price range, can someone please recommend  their perceived best? As I'm really no expert with headphones... Thanks a lot

Hmm bassy but not over 65 pounds - Sony XB500?
 
Creative Aurvana isn't too bad, sadly the build quality can be hit and miss.
 
I'm sure Malveaux will jump in - but it really is a great mid range pop DJ
headphone - The Shure SRH750DJ
 
Slightly out of your price range. Worth saving for though over the XB500
for the instrumental stuff.

Thanks for the reply. Not necessarily bassy, in fact, I hate headphones that are overly bassy (which I doubt the cals are), and much prefer clarity and crispness if there has to be a tradeoff. But thanks for your recommendation, they seem good i'll definitely look into them. By the way, would Sennheiser Hd 215 be any good for me? Though they're quite a bit more expensive than the cals...thanks
