The Pacific was better towards the end. Sledge grew on me a bit, and Snafu had a good arc. Their yin and yang worked well. I never got over the polished camerawork. There's a reason the Spiel stormed Normandy with handhelds. It added immediacy. Too often The Pacific felt removed. 6/10

evil character sucked and fighting was too short

Are you talking about the guy who was in The Wrestler, or the guy who hired him?  The scrawny government evil guy was awesome.  I thought he was one of the better evil characters I've seen.

But yeah, the big dude is better as a hero.  As you can tell, I don't pay attention to actors names at all

I agree with 8/10.  I still love the iron man character, but there could have been more TECH introduced.  That 360 degree laser was pretty sweet though.   As far as the car upgrade, all they did was change to an Audi R8 Spyder -- pretty unspectacular.

An old James Cameron opus, "The Abyss". I'd say 8/10.

Iron Man 2: I like the 8/10 rating, I think that's true. There was nothing I disliked about the movie, but it wasn't balls-out-awesome.

Daybreakers:
Twilight for ages 12+. Somewhat unique concept, but more plot holes than Camp Green Lake and more unnecessary gore than the 2000 presidential election.

3/10

Nice summary, but isn't Twilight for ages 12+ anyway?

Oh God, that reminds me I once saw a mother help her little daughter (couldn't have been more than 8) find where the Twilight books were. I felt so sorry for both of them.

Movie: KICK ASS

9.5/10

the reviews sucked.  I actually didn't think it sounded that good. and the description didn't really describe the movie well, but WOW.  I LOVED THIS MOVIE

very few movies have impressed me lately, mainly Avatar and Sherlock Holmes.   and now KICK ASS.   highly recommended comic book action flick with cool character development, great cinematography and overall artistic filming.

I get what you mean, but at the same time, I don't.

It's all good though, not like I plan to watch it anyway.

It was more a joke on Twilight and the state of vampiric obsession today than an actual endorsement of teenage Daybreakers consumption. Honestly I wouldn't endorse any consumption of Daybreakers.

Unless you're into vampires turning into un-vampires whose blood upon ingestion turns vampires into moar un-vampires.

It gets about ten times better when watched as an analogy to current dependency on fossil fuels. At least up until the un-vampire stuff. Though perhaps we should consider turning to hippies as a new form of renewable energy.

I've decided two edits ago to just dump my random 1 a.m. ramblings here.

Adrift in Tokyo - 8/10

I didn't go into it expecting much anyway, so what I did get was a pleasant surprise.  While it lacked character development and closure, the performances, character interactions and relationships, as well as the way they drove the plor more than made up for it. It was also incredibly funny, if you're into subtle humour.  It wasn't perfect, but I loved what I saw.  I don't think I've seen such an endearing movie in a long time.  I miss these kinds of movies.

Extraordinary Measures - 7/10. Pretty good watch, very inspiring at times, but the way they tied the story together was a little flawed.
