Jackie Earl Haley deserved the Oscar that year, in my humble opinion.

I watched Kraftwerk and the Electronic revolution. 10/10 - I love that stuff. 1/10 if you don't.

Avatar: 10/10

I was never really impressed by a movie. But Avatar was just a truly magic experience, and I haven't even seen it in 3D yet.

This movie is just incredible beautiful. Best movie I have ever seen BY FAR.

"Avatar" [8.5/10]: As for the fun factor and as a pure movie-going experience, I would rate "Avatar" 10/10. As I said in the Avatar thread, I thought that the story was basically "Dances With Wolves" meets "The Last Samurai" in an alien world. In other words, it was a good but a much used story line. The visuals and sound effects were first rate. It was, as I have read several times, extremely video game like. I glad that I saw it in IMAX 3D...

The Hangover is the funniest movie I've seen this year. The brother of the bride-to-be reminds me of a mental health client I once had on my caseload: crazy as hell but more funny than crazy. He gets a 10. Heather Graham's 39 year old right one gets a 9 the hard way. Overall, the movie reminds me of a bachelor party that some British Special Forces officers threw for me in 1981 in Anchorage, AK at a strip joint called "The Great Alaskan Bush Company." Grand Total = 8.5

Avatar 7/10

I went on a date, ended up sitting two rows from the screen and two seats from a SCREAMING BABY, because no movie experience is complete without a screaming baby.

The movie was too long and my neck hurt, also I was hungry throughout the whole movie. Wish I'd see Sherlock Holmes instead.
