Rate The Last Movie You Watched

So here's one of those movies that aren't really "good", but yet still fun to just watch on a whim and laugh a bit...it's not as funny as something like Old School or the Hangover films, but if you like Jason Sudekis and this style of humor, then you might find it kinda fun.

se7en- 5/10

just not my type of movie
not necesssarily a bad movie but it moved way too slow for me, i thought there were a few uneccesary scenes, eg. reading in the library
good acting and great looking scenes
i watched through 3/4 of the film and skipped through to see the importatnt parts and the end

Das Boot (Director's Cut) - 10/10

Watched all 3 1/2 hours of this in one sitting last night. Really felt like I was on the U-boat with them and experiencing everything they did.
The Blu-Ray is super cheap and not the best quality, but probably the best it's going to get for awhile.

$10 at Best Buy on sale usually. Go get it!!

BTW without the good acting, this movie would really be nowhere as good.

I wonder how accurate this movie is? I'll have to do my research..

Yeah, I watched it...and wish I didn't. I really can't say anything good about it because there was nothing good about it. It go's WAY to far over the edge for any movie.

Another cinematic statement regarding the capacity of human existence. The duality was that he loved his family.

"Not recommended for anyone under 25 years old."......................not recommended for anyone. lol

Yeah...I was more distracted by the "Uglier" parts of the movie.

Man, it's just nasty. It was Ban from I think almost all country's it was shown in at least for some amount of time. I cant really think of a way to describe it with out saying what it is and I really don't want to post it on this forum.
READ SPOILERS IF AND ONLY IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT IT IS!
Long story short, a porn star is approached by a former co-star about shooting a film, he eventually says yes because he needs the money for his family, The movie is a Pedophilia necrophiliac snuff film.
Like I said, this movie really pushed what I would consider the line for cinema.

That being said I watched
Pink flamingo's: An exorcise in bad taste- 6/10, its gross man, just gross. It is funny but by god is it an exorcise in bad taste. It also has some pretty shocking parts but nothing near 'A Serbian Film'.

That's a different, but kind of similar film to Irréversible. I'll be trying to find this movie.

While I'm curious...a few scenes I read described in various reviews sounds extremely brutal. I'll probably watch it eventually out of curiosity.

The Wikipedia page lists a few places it's available, by the way. I won't link directly as I think it's inappropriate for the forums.

Yeah Irréversible looks a little more tame from reviews.

"Lockout" 5/10.  Watched this because wife fancies Guy Pierce.  Man, he sure buffed up for the role and the whole "5" was carried by him alone. He had some funny dialogue and he's a great actor, but everything else was predictable and lacked substance.

Irreversible is a great movie. I own it on DVD and watch it every couple of years. In many ways Irreversible is a masterpiece. The issue is this movie is wrong on so many levels. The director here is trying to be a tuff-guy and rip you apart with his over-the top themes. I guess the plot is good but the subject matter is so objectionable that to see the movie is irresponsible self-abuse.

If you value yourself and your mind don't see this.Guard yourself from these subjects. This is by far the most shocking movie I have ever seen by far and I could write a book about shocking movies. This movie is a bad life experience. It is mind warping.

Don't see it. You will be glad you didn't see it.
