No country for old men(seen twice now)7/10
rec(spanish horror)lots of horror buffs recommend this-my opinion-its dubbed and the acting aint great and some characters get on me nerves.its a shaky cam film.some good scare scenes and worth watching till the end as it gets better.worth putting on ya list.6/10.
i may watch ringu tonight-we shall see.
FUNNY GAMES(german version)below is review from american version with spoilers.the below sums it up for me really. https://www.imdb.com/review/rw2938812/?ref_=tt_urv
Its a strange film .6/10-i have read a lot of reviews after watching and i will rewatch the german subbed version and watch the american version in due course.
Charlize Theron playing Rambo.....
It's as believable as...........It's just not very believable. Every fight scene comes off as a comedy, off balance punches and kicks, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon has more believable combat set pieces.
Yeah, and it has a story...I think.

I would put both those sixes on their heads and give these movies each a 9/10, FWIW. Saw both in the theater upon release and found them revolutionary. Rec 2 is great as well, after that it went a bit downhill.
Well made, but boring. The trailer looks great because its a compilation of all the exciting bits. Interestingly, I actually agree with the Amazon average rating (3.5/5). I may have given it a 4/5 but the trailer was deceptive and made the film a dissapointment. The trailer appeared like a horror film, but it was more psychological drama with some horror twist. It was interesting and well made, but the tension was a bit weak.

I watched Hereditary mainly due to the Midsommar hype. I dont think Ill bother to watch Midsommar now. Hereditary is not bad at all. My expectation was that it was a film you ‘add to your netflix que because you heard its decent and is something you would like to watch someday just not now because it doesnt seem that interesting’. Based on critics ratings I thought it could potentially be more but my general experience with ‘well-done’ horror films is that I will not like it as much because Im not a big fan of the genre.
