Rush Hour 3 7/10. Less filler than the second one, but chris tucker still talks too damn much.

The Count of Monte Cristo (2002/3) 7.5/10

Caviezel does a good job as the naive Dantes, but doesn't quite pull of the vengeful Count role. The movie cuts huge characters/plot points from the story, making the interpretation less dark and with a happier ending. Not horrible overall.

Also, the woman who played Mercedes was absolutely stunning.

Perfume: The Story of a Murderer-3.5 stars.

Roger Ebert says:

"Why I love this story, I do not know. Why I have read the book twice and given away a dozen copies of the audiobook, I cannot explain. There is nothing fun about the story, except the way it ventures so fearlessly down one limited, terrifying, seductive dead end, and finds there a solution both sublime and horrifying. It took imagination to tell it, courage to film it, thought to act it, and from the audience it requires a brave curiosity about the peculiarity of obsession."

Saw the The Bad News Bears Trilogy this weekend.

The Bad News Bears really is great film, a pretty wonderful commentary on the 70s, and the ending such a smart decision.
The Bad News Bears in Basic Training is awful.
The Bad News Bears Goes to Japan might be even worse.

Cheesy as hell, but everyone loves Jack Ba...erm, Kiefer Sutherland.

Noooo! This movie is awesome! I guess this is fair though... I would have given it an 8.

Shoot Em Up - 8/10

Very good popcorn flick, little story, lots of action. If you liked Crank, you'll love this.

Mission Impossible III - 6.5/10.

I truly expected to hate this movie. I don't like Tom Cruise at all, and the second one was just too over the top for me. I found that I really did enjoy this one, though it's not worth owning.

National Lampoon's Vacation - Certainly a cult classic for me. The family truckster just kills me. 9/10
