Seen a lot of live music the last nine months?

This years a loss for obvious reasons, got a few in in Jan and Feb, donated back tickets for April and May. I expect to make up for it next season when it starts in Sept.

The sonic improvement is not directly proportional to the detriment of one's bank account.

I need help connecting the CHORD HUGO2 to the Jotunheim R. I assume RCA out from H2 to JR in? Also what volume settings are best combination for the two? Plan to control overall volume with H2 remote but what volume should the JR be set to for best results??

Yep...you got it. RCA outputs from the Chord, to the RCA inputs of the Jot R. As far as the volume knob goes, you can email Jason at Schiit and ask him where 'Unity Gain' is on the Jot R....and keep your knob there. In the absence of that info, I usually just take it to 100%, and would use the Chord for the variance. This doesn't work as well if you have other people using your rig though.....as you might imagine.

I just slapped on the ZMF co-pilot pad (lambskin) on the headband, and for me, it improves the comfort and stability on my head. Worth the investment, just had to move the headband one notch down to take into account the added thickness on the headband

Just listened to the HD800S, coming from the SR1a after few weeks.
Well both are great, but HD800S feels like Headphone, while SR1a doesn't.
Can't describe it otherwise

I am seriously considering to add these headphones to my collection. My current plan is to use the interface box powered by my Prima Luna Dialogue Premium HP.
I am thinking on using Kimber 4TC between the amp and the box. What do you think?
Also, I know there have been mentioned different options for cables from the box to the headphones. In your opinion what is the best one?

I'm running Nordost Heimdall between my Bryston and the interface box. It was a noticeable improvement over the supplied cable. I'm sure the Kimber will work fine. When you get the headphones, try the stock cable for awhile....get the measure of them, then swap 'em out for the 4TC's. That should tell the tale.
