We were putting out some "fires" today, but we'll have them assembled tomorrow and take a few shots..
Is this one at least partially loosing scratch resistance as well I guess?

Aleks, can you say more about the saturation of the transformers? I was excited by but slightly confused by your recommendation of the AHB2 given this issue.
I know Aleksandar already addressed this but I'd also like to add that more power above what the transformers saturate at can have benefits that come from not driving the amp as hard. Less distortion, better linearity, and can saturate the transformers faster. Better to run an amp at 50% than 90%

Also I subjectively hear benefits with my CA-1a when I move from a headphone amp to a speaker amp with more wattage.

I'll also be listening to it today on this very new Auris 300b

6moons showed up some photos of the received Magna. It's not clear if he got it disassembled or if he did that himself??

Alex showed us when we were in Heidelberg that the cups of Magna and Immanis can be disassembled easily to facilitate ease of replacement if there is a problem in the future. The SR-1a/b was designed for easy user replacement of the ribbon drivers, for the new ones this is not possible.

Maybe those disassembled photos created some confusion and they were asked to get them removed or to be clearer in the text. The article itself didn't contain anything special, no sound impressions yet, just something about what happens to the sound when you cover the back.

EDIT: it's up again, he added some impressions

Quick question regarding the warranty and outside of the warranty repairs: how much warranty do we get with Immanis purchase, is it transferable? How much does it cost to replace the drivers outside of the warranty period?

To me it plays a rather big role in my purchase descision, Meze charges exorbitant fees for driver replacements, in the same time you get lifelong driver warranty with ZMF as the original buyer and you your Susvara replaced for 300 eur outside of warranty which is pretty great deal too. Considering Immanis is 10k... well :)

I’m thinking those are questions you should point directly at our friendly dealer at headphone.shop
With Magna and Immanis it’s not a case of replacing the drivers, you replace the complete cup/cups. Alex will no doubt correct me if this has changed since our Heidelberg conversation.

With headphone.shop you have the usual vendor 2 year "Gewährleistung" its the manufacturor who gives you the warranty. So maybe Alex could address that.
