Well they passed a law recently here in the US about interstate taxes. It used to be if the item was shipped from another state is was exempt from sales tax.

Now you have to pay sales tax regardless still no sales tax on items purchased overseas, and luckily no customs tax or vat. So now on large ticket items it's almost best to order from the source in China, or use someplace like ali Express or accessory Jack which always seem to have free shipping.

Anyways I'm glad zaplap escaped the tax man

While I didn't have to pay tax , someone somewhere probably did , via extra shipping charges to cover duties , I would imagine.
It could also be that I was just lucky - gotta happen occasionally , right ?

MSEB is so good. This DAP is incredible with the Oriolus Mk2.

I'm on high gain with the volume at 37, and the R5 is doing what I would say is a very good job driving the HD6xx. Really quite good.. I almost can't believe it. No DAP I've tried comes close to driving the 6xx as good as this one other than the R6, which I owned briefly - not the ZX300, the WM1A or the dx150 (all of which I own/owned).

Granted, I bought the 10ft 4.4mm cable sold directly from Sennheiser, so your mileage may vary. I'm getting quite good performance from this rig.

To my ears it's doing better than the dx150, yes. Also that is with the dx150 on amp 6.
