my first question is

1) where can i find 1mm 2 core wire to use in the internal headband of the headphones?

I was able to find some on ebay that were meant for beats solo but that runs for $6-$8 for about 2 feet of wire which i think is a bit over priced. So I was hoping to find a cheaper option should I need to do another repair.

Unfortunately i can't just use stranded wire because of the design of the headphones, the wire runs through a fake screw to go through the body.

I did fine 2 core 1.5mm wire on Aliexpress but I'm unsure it'd fit plus aliexpress takes forever.

my second question is

2) https://i.imgur.com/zYRiuwa.jpg How can I replace this 3.5mm socket?

its a 3.5mm socket but its on a PCB where one side has right and right ground and the other is for the left speaker.

If i had to ever replace it, would I be able to use a regular 3 pole 3.5mm female socket to repair it?

Would it have to have the PCB for both channels to work?

Thank you for the help

2- You can keep this old connection.
to which connection you want to replace it?

1- try to buy some cable like this
https://www.ebay.com/itm/DIY-Earpho...f1f4a7278:m:m8X-Y9RE3ciRnf2o7U4NngA:rk:9:pf:0
or

I'm just asking if I can use something like this https://www.amazon.com/TOOGOO-Stere...DWA3NKSMGHS&psc=1&refRID=Z39M2CQZXDWA3NKSMGHS

Even though the original is on a pcb.

And that wire is no good for what I'm asking. 1) its 3mm in outer diameter and 2) its the internal wire which is only 1mm in outer diameter

Internal cable is hard to fit inside if it having too big diameter.
This is my moding, also destroyed one driver because inaccurate disasambly.

If you plan the moding good so you can plan a head how to cut + solder+ and glue any connection that you want,
but this moding is unrecoverable and risky .

This type of cable is thin and shielded but I using half of this one that remained after I create my DIY cables

You can try to use wider cable like this
https://www.ebay.com/itm/50m-2-Core...=item48a0bd0d2a:g:F0EAAOSw1DtXH1WH:rk:32:pf:0
or try some speaker cable

For what you want to replace 3.5mm socket to another 3.5mm ?
