I am thinking about getting the FiiO E7 to use as a "usb sound card" and for a portable amp. Is this the best option for these two uses?
 
This item would be used most at my computer and occasionally used for a portable amp.

The Fiio E7 has been superseded by the E17, so you may want to look at that.
 
Is there any other criteria that you need for your DAC/amplifier (i.e. price range, particular sound you are looking for, etc)?

Price I am flexible but under 200 preferably under 100 but if it is worth it it is worth it.
 
I'm looking for a full warm sound with a little extra bass. Mostly will be used with my Ultasone HIFI-580's but I will probably get some ATH-CKM500's as well. I'd like to get rid of the computer noise that the on-board picks up and I would like to be able to play out of my android phone as well.
 
I will either get this component or purchase the ATH-CKM500's.
