New Head-Fier
Hello! I intend on purchasing a DAC amplifier soon to plug my Sony MDR-1AM2 and other Hi-Resolution sets into in the future. My pair was bought in used condition and missing the 4.4mm cable the pair originally came with. I figure I can just buy a 3.5mm to 6.35mm adapter and use that to plug them into the amplifier. However, I've read that having a TRRS connector would be the issue with this route, and since the 3.5mm cable the 1AM2's come with a built-in microphone, I was wondering if I could get some confirmation or refutation on here. The amplifier in question only has 6.35mm ports. Thanks in advance!
