Lmao if that beast wouldn't run it, that would be really worrisome I have a 5 year old XPS 13 with i5 and 8GB Ram, no slouch but quite outdated. Chrome + Qobuz is too much to ask...

I use the same computer for Roon core and USB audio out to DAC. Roon runs much smoother than Qobuz app that's for sure.

Music Direct is offering a free 3 month trial subscription to Qobuz right now. I've tried to subscribe but after filling out the registration nothing happens. I've emailed Qobz support to see why but if you're smarter than me it's a nice trial period.

I have 2 laptops one big, and one tiny.
I like the oldest best, perfect size.
The old one don`t like qobus hi-res.
Using qobus desktop app for win- content imported for offline use- usb cable direct to dac.
music stop/clics.

Are my old thinkpad x200 to weak? (SSD/4-RAM)

Yes, very likely. 4 GB of ram is probably causing you trouble. I was having trouble with 8 GB. You could try the web player if that works for you. Sadly the windows app is badly optimized.

My other PC has 8GB ram. but it is huge(14"). want a small unit
Tried chromecast/same problem with high res.

iPhone is a fine solution if that is not a problem for you. Have you tried the webplayer? (play.qobuz.com)

Yeah the app is pretty decent. Maybe your phone is also more powerfull than a old pc though...

Webplayer on PC works very well too in my experience
