When you read some of the comments on those sites, it's very obvious that many people would abuse the vendors if they could without a second thought.  There were numerous calls for lowered pricing with the Q701's even though it was already an unprecedented low price.

I agree with the Q701 comment. Still surprised AKG agreed to one, considering they would have had to subsidize costs. That said, I disagree with the reasoning on that page, but respect it considering that I still use this forum. I have no interest in rocking the boat.
 
Anyway, you could probably just ask around Reddit or something and someone is bound to give you a response. The website even has a subreddit.

I'm using mine with X3 and don't like the new UI. User Mr.Trev has made a listbased theme for the new UI which I find to be much nicer to use. Ask in the X3 thread and you'll find it.
