I'm not sure if you're familiar with The Reticent, but if you're into Opeth (Ghost Reveries/Deliverance era) and Tool, this album is a must-check. Seriously good stuff!

I gave it a listen and was really enjoying it and then he started with the guttural singing and that was that, as soon as I hear that kind of vocal I'm out. I love Opeth but only after Akerfeldt moved over to clean vocals.

I gave it a full listen through but the sound is a bit too bleak for me, it just doesn't leave me feeling good
