Actually, now that I look at it, the photos seems not as vibrant as I would have expected.
The photo below shows what I imagine the scene looked like in real life.
 

 
I'm wondering, did you change the photo on purpose or is that just how it came out of the camera?

You all seem so puzzled--I'm pretty sure he turned down the saturation.
 
Just look at the sky--No camera couldn't capture the blue sky as blue. Therefore, the reason the sky is dull and the greens are nonexistent is because there has been some post done on it.

If that's the case, I'm shocked.    There are times when I could see this technique being used in video, but in photography, it just looks.... dull(?)...
Maybe that's just me.

It's shocking because he applied his look to something that would typically be seen with all colors as shot.
