That would be a Snow Leopard behind a thick pane of dirty glass.

Wow.  I never would have suspected it was photographed through dirty glass.  Thanks for the info on the name!

Heres a picture I took of the Christ the Redeemer Statue on Corcovado in Rio

Katana, 30" blade. So, sort of a large weapon.

I figured the glass might be dirty; I've taken a fair share of Zoo photographs myself, and there's a look that the ones shot through glass (and it's usually dirty glass, at zoos) commonly have. Looks nice though, if a tad desaturated.

Looking at the photo, it looks like it has a sharpened edge on it.

Compared to mine (non sharpened):

I am curious, who made yours?

Mine is fully sharpened and theoretically battle ready. It was made by Sabersmith USA, who have a headquarters here in Michigan. Although it follows the design of a traditional katana in blade, it is not a replica of a Japanese weapon. It is Sabersmith's own design, and has a different look to it from a traditional Japanese katana.

Katana, full shot (and also, coincidentally, the first NEF file I've opened from my D7000)

Went to the big Photo Expo at Jacob Javitz this morning to check out all the gear.  Nikon had several models working that everyone could shoot so I tried a few shots.

^ Nice mountain shots! Was the weather really that gloomy in Salzburg, or did you suck out the colour again?

Speaking of mountain shots, here are two of Mt. Langkofel in the Dolomites, right from the terrasse of our holiday appartment:

I probably would have cropped out the thing in the bottom right corner.
Also, the color in the sky looks really dull.  I would have thought being up that high you would have a much nicer sky (or did you just make it look dull?)
