Got my 7D on Oct. 1st, and it finally stopped raining long enough to do some actual shooting Saturday morning.

7D, 17-40 /4 L
1/200@f/9, ISO 200

The detail you get with 18MP is pretty amazing. At 100% on screen, the leaves on the tree are sharp and show detail.

The rain drops are real, it basically rained all night and stopped just before sunrise. You can see the mist in the air in the first shot.
