It was a rare (for these parts) cloudy day. Blue skies get boring quickly. It's getting colder now so maybe I'll get to see some snow around. Not on this beach though.
My wife & I live in a small village named Milton in the province of Nova Scotia, Canada. The area is called the "maritimes". I took this ominous looking picture of the road in front of our home, at 1:00 AM, on Dec. 16, 2016 from our front porch. We had just had a snow storm and the temperature was -16C; with the wind factor it felt like -29C. The road was covered with snow and underneath the snow there was a sheet of black ice as we call it here. It's very treacherous because you can lose control of your car without warning. Black ice forms under very frigid weather. Well ... it's Canada after all.
