Figure in case anyone is interested, the Sigma Art 50mm f1.4 is on Massdrop for potentially as low as $707 +shipping. Not sure about warranty coverage but it doesn't state that it's a Massdrop warranty so potentially not gray market.

That's beautiful. I forgot to mention that KEH had huge sales during black Friday. I picked up a 35.. 1.4 Art for $610 shipped. Every fiber in me wants to sell it back due to the crater that's in my wallet now, but the lens is just too good to give up. Combine this lens wiith the D750's low light capability, I can shoot in near darkness with impunity. It's crazy stuff.

It is beautiful lol. Wish I could partake.
Nice! I know how you feel. One of my biggest photography regrets was not being careful and having my perfectly functioning Nikomat FT being stolen with the like-new original f-mount 50mm 1.4 attached. I tried to get a good working set of both 3 times. All of which ended up being mainly good for parts. I attribute the demise of my love affair with b&w film photography and bathroom development to that event.

One of my favorite shots with that combo. Taken hand held at about 10pm against a dimly lit street, iso 400 iirc:

Fend off the sale for a rainy day

maybe it's not perfect, nor shot with the best gear, but I bought a second lamp today an was playing around a little with low light an just adjusting the overall lighting used for a shot, an I really like how this came out

Two weeks to go... Vienna's ready, except for snow.

(Currently testing an Olympus Stylus 1, to see whether it's a better bring everywhere cam for my purposes than my Fuji F900EXR)

As always, very nice stuff Lug.

Installed Lightroom finally (how long has it been since I talked about that?), and played around with it.

Came across this candid of a friend that I took about a year ago and touched it up. Nothing amazing.
