Pancakes I made, sprinkled with a dusting of cinnamon and smothered in maple syrup, topped off with a generous dollop of Cookies and Cream ice-cream...

Bored out of her mind

What are her options?
1) Go into bed and sleep.
2) Move onto the couch and sleep.
3) Go onto my computer chair and sleep.
4) Stay where she is and sleep.
5) Get high on the cat nip.
6) Bathroom break.
7) Eat/Drink.

Yup, she's bored! And to top it off, here I am taking pictures of her. Ah, she must love me.

It sounds good, yes. However, it does not look very appetizing. Could you have made it look a little more appealing?

Nope, I think it was handheld at about 1/15th of a second.

I like the cool, almost purplish cast to your photos.

Mr Vile, that's a very nice candid portrait.

Devwild, as I'm sure you know, that bottom picture is fancy! What an interesting angle.

And LocoTracks, that is an interesting effect. Are they smeared clouds (time elapsed)?

I meant how long did you have to wait for the ambient light to be correct, find the right place to snap the shot, etc. etc.

For example when I was in Austria recently I waited for almost 2 hours for it to get dark enough for the shot I was looking for.

Yes, Oneonta gorge specifically. I took my camera up in a small dry bag looped on a shoulder strap, worked quite well, great for the deep spots. First time I've ventured that much into the water with my gear.
