So close to mine.

Comp -> Compass -> Darkvoice 332
loving it, even though there is a ground loop hum that I need to get rid of.

would the 650 be a pretty good all-roudner in movies, games, some-what bass oriented music? I listen to electronic, pop, rock, hip-hop (basically anything good and mainstream) but kinda worried how the bass on these puppies will be.

Coming from the DT990's, i know a-lot of the deep, sub-bass and impact will be lost, but as long as the treble is smooth and everything is musical and fun, I'll be happy to sell both my DT880 and DT990's and fund some brand new Sennheiser HD650's in a heartbeat.

I just can't stand beyers treble and 650 is the closest that I'm going to get as far as price/performance S.Q ratio gets. I'm not looking for that much of a neutral presentation, but as long as the bass response system isn't too weak as it was on the DT880's

thanks for anyone who wants to help me.

Indeed! I love this set up. Right now though, I think the weak link in this chain is the Compass for me. I am hoping to build a Gamma 2 after I get done designing this tube amp that I plan to build.
