Nice. How do you like them? How do they sound compared to the K612? I just got a pair of K612s.

It seems like everything is more detail and smoother and the mid bass is a wow!

Sounds like a nice upgrade, I need to listen to them sometime, haven't really heard the Hifiman orthos before. I found the K612 quite smooth, but they aren't ortho smooth.

Thanks, the tablet is full windows 8, so I am thinking of trying foobar2k on there, I just need to find a touch-friendly skin.

What's a good setup or more gear for a Marantz sr5009? Are a $300 pair of klipsch speakers good to use (for now) in place of tower speakers latter on?
