Very happy with my desktop setup now. It took a while (years) for me to get to where I am now, but the one permanent feature in my setup has always been that Cyrus CD player and amp. I’ve kept it for years, it has an endgame colouration to its sound, as well as being detailed. Perfect match with the AKG K702 and the B&W P9 Signature.

Sony MDR7510, cheap usb to 3.5mm adapter > iphone X > Youtube Music App..this setup = neutrality.
The opposite of my Cyrus system which is of course superior, warm, natural, detailed and emotive.

My setup.....I Jerry-rigged a bathroom cart and some brainwaves headphone hooks to store (and more importantly roll around) my cans.

DIY headphone amp, 6SN7 + 6BX7 and all tube regulated power supply.

My SR60s are my favorite but one driver has died, so these are my old Franken-Beyers with 150 ohm drivers from AliExpress and a cat5 cable:

Not much to look at, but I like them! Pretty much the same sound signature as the stock Beyer drivers. I also have Koss Pro/4AA and AKG K172, but they don't get used as much.

Currently waiting for parts to repair/upgrade my SR60s and build another Grado-style headphone with Nhoord drivers.
