It's no steinway, but it got me into conservatory.

While I do miss it being away at school, I do have to admit that the action and sound just can't compare to the $80,000-$120,000 steinways I get to play on here at school.

Right now I'm working on:

Complete Brahms Op.10 (4 Ballades)
Beethoven Pathetique Sonata

Just finished: Mozart's 21st concerto (wrote and performed my own cadenza too!)

That is way beyond just being junk.

I agree 100%.

It was this exact one:
Cordoba 24CK Concert Ukulele and more Ukuleles at GuitarCenter.com.

Now, I know the wood alone costs a fair amount, so I wasn't expecting it to be a martin..... but when I went and actually held it...... I was speechless. The guy had another one on display, and it felt the same...........

I would take my 20$ Hilo over it for playability.

2007 Gibson Super Jumbo 200 Custom Shop Elite Quilt Maple

I play country and cowboy songs, and this is the same guitar Roy Rogers, Gene Autry and Elvis played. It's also the guitar Pete Townshend played Pinball Wizard and Won't Get Fooled Again on. Bob Dylan, George Harrison and Jimmy Page played a J-200 too. I'm in awe whenever I pick it up.

See ya

Nice! You should get some audio clips up on here if you can. I remember when I was playing my school would never let the recordings out.

Thanks! I am preparing them for boards right now along with Prelude and Fugue #1 and #2 from the the Well Tempered Clavier Book 2, so in a couple of weeks I will record them and throw the whole program up on here. I don't know if I will have ballades #3 and #4 done by then though. I only need 30min of music for boards though so I am fine.

What do you mean your school wouldn't let the recordings out? You weren't allowed to record yourself and post it?

I guess I could have recorded it myself, I never really thought of that. Everything was recorded with the nice mics that hung down in front of the stage and then recorded. I asked for my sophomore recital tape but I wasn't allowed to have it because of the copyright on the music.
