POST PICS OF YOUR DARTH BEYERS
Jun 5, 2007 at 11:27 AM Post #466 of 2,461
Anybody know (or willing to tell) how much the latest deep Darth's sold for?
I was watching for them -- and missed out!
Work keeps me from staying logged-on permanently and watching.
Dang.

Actually from the pictures, that's the nicest Paduak that I have seen yet. I believe that the open deep zebra Darths bought by Snacks were also $695. We get warped on here... $695 is a lot of money!

Try 795$.

Deep cup products aren't cheap. They're definately worth it though. I love my Darth Boobies.

Boobies are special indeed (and have covers). I could be wrong but I'm quite sure that the open deep cup Zebras were $695. I was surprised at the time because it seemed quite reasonable. The laminated Snakewood/Wenge Darths were very pricey but absolute classics. Perhaps only the Varios at what I remember to be $895 were more expensive.

Not quite...actually, they were $820.00 after balancing and lengthening to 2.0m, initially they were $795.00.

Okay, so I was totally wrong. (And that was private stock zebra.) Mea culpa.

Larry swapped cables for $25? That fantastic!

Quite a bit. It's alot more of an open soundstage. Better air between instruments also.

Bass is some what tighter, reaches deeper into the lower Hz while still being tight, and there is more bass but it's not a huge amount.

Mids are gorgeous. Very forward but not so much that it is fatiguing.

The GCHA really helps the boobies because it helps keep everything in check. It's a very neutral HP amp. I am wanting to try an Opera and see how it compares with the Boobies to the GCHA.
