Thats why I asked, I also got mine from the "headphone deals" section and yours looked like mine(can be seen on previous pages) but mine did not state "deep bowls". Or was it an internal tweak?

Mine is Deal2.
Larry described it has deep bowl.

I had my eye on the snakewood as well, but the price was more than I was willing to pay. The special zebrawood he had around the same time was very cool, but no one has yet admitted to owning them (I would love to see photos).

Anyway, when I lost out on those I went with my second choice- wide zebrawood/ 2m blackmax/ black pads. I just got word they shipped today. Here is Larry's photo- I'm very proud

Nice pics GreatDane, you really captured the grain of the wood.

sulcata_geo, interesting mahogany cups. Are they really that yellow in person, or are they a darker brown? When I was working with mahogany, I was not able to produce such a yellow color.
