There's nothing really significant about this purchase, but for me it was, because I'm not much of a reader, if ever. I only bought it because the TV series was too damn good!

Thomas cancelled my third session on me so I was in the mood for tattoos and couldn't let that go to waste. Got the runes on Friday and the eye on Saturday. Both done by Darryl Hannah at Golden Age tattoo in Austin.

The eye will look better when it's healed and the shading blends a bit more. Thinking I'm going to get another on my other foot but more like the eye is rolling back into the head. The detail is sick though.

Have another session on Thursday for the start of my other sleeve, but I'll save that til it's done. Only linework right now.

I finally got the last few parts and finished putting together my custom E-cocker paintball gun. Its a half-mini-midget Prostock body with a custom acid wash, sidewinder reg, scmIII lpr, e2, eclipse ram, more jargon, jargon, jargon...basically its pretty sweet

Hope you have multiple eargasms listening to them, post some impressions when you have the chance.

They are certainly capable to producing them.

A larrivee :D

I actually want to give them a try one day. How are you liking it so far Old pa?

I don't know if you guys want me to take any pictures, but my latest significant purchases have been: a X100s camera (had to sell my Sigma 35mm for the money) / A used 2006 61' reissue SG (traded my As103 + money) / and a Lite Ash MIK Telecaster (traded my 2013 PRS SE Custom 24)

It's been a hectic for weeks, but I'm loving all of my purchases :)

Thanks.  It's a left-handed LSV-11e (with the no-cut electronics) fingerstyle that Jean was kind enough to put together for me.  I really like the smaller size and balanced tone.  But my present playing does not yet exploit the instrument's true potential.  I also picked up a Sony RSX-100 at a good price after Thanksgiving; the ii's sensor and wi-fi did not represent significant inducements to me.  Merry Christmas!

My last hurrah with my artist before she moved to Asheville. Starting the sleeve in a few months with her once she gets settled and I get travel time.

Everything but the middle was freehand, btw.
