Per boomana's suggestion, maybe post why the purchase is significant and/or why you decided go with that/those item(s).

and stand for said keyboard

...all for stress relieve

So I played and competed in numerous piano solo competitions as a kid. Stopped playing in college... Now I just want to get back into playing the piano for fun and relieve some stress/decompress from long hours in classes/hospitals. Piano really is more enjoyable when you're playing for fun instead of practicing for competitions.

I went to a local guitar center and tried the limited digital pianos they had on the floor and ended up liking the action of the RD700GX the best (kinda ilke headphones, once you felt it, it's hard to go back/compromise). I also looked into and researched other models as well, but some are out of my price range, and others are not due out until next year... so... well actually the RD700GX is out of my price range as well, but saw a good deal on eBay with Bing cashback, and pulled the trigger! Can't wait!

Rather than just posting pictures, why not actually discuss why it's significant to you? Better yet, why not start a thread about that keyboard. Why did you pick that one? What kind of music do you play? Are you in a band? Why? That's interesting. A thread of drive-by posting, with no one really caring other than the person slapping up a picture, is not.

That must be my second AKG K1000, purchased in June.

As much as I love this headphone is certainly can be useful to have a backup pair, in case something happen to one of them.

I'll throw some non-electronics into the mix. I might have gone a little crazy at the Hugo Boss store, lol.

Again, guys, if a purchase is signifcant enough to post about, it's worthy of doing more than just slapping up a picture.

Kai, I like that headphone stand. Who made it?

The stand is really great I must say.
It let the K1000 rest on the red arch without stressing the headband, and it is built like a rock (heavy, stable, solid).

It was made by our fellow Head-Fier 'afrikane', who afaik originally made 3 stands for his 3 K1000's. He later scaled down to a single K1000 with stand, and I got ahold of one of the stands.

I also have one of his magnificent K1000 stands, given to me as a thankyou for my k1000 review (see sig.), which set him down that particular slippery slope in the first place.

Incidentally Mods, when clicking through to my review (to check it was still there), I noticed that I can no longer find a link to the 'featured full reviews' section. It still exists, but links to it from the front page or the main forums page seem to have evaporated.

Though it didn't cost me significant amount of money(only 50 bucks) but I know its going to sound really significant in my system. I like it so much that I'm contimplating of selling my other speakers.

Burger King's Whopper Jr.

2008_Whopper_JR.jpg

This was quite significant because I was hungry, now that I've eaten it I'm not hungry anymore.
I chose the Jr. Whopper because the full size version was out of my budget.

(in case anyone doesn't get it this is a sarcastic example of what the old "post what you bought" spam thread degraded into.. please don't post that kinda crap here)
