Maybe choose headphones that don't need masses of power for portable use?

The whole idea of an amp is to be able to drive what the player can't alone. To make an amp that weak doesn't make sense.

Hello,
Got my pioneer dap being cotrolled by a smartwatch finally.
 
I had to sideload the pebble time app as it was complaining about the xdp being incompatible.
 
Works nicely with music boss or the in built music application.
Now i dont have to take my dap out of my pocket now its getting towards winter in the uk.

The i5 wins on the built quality side.
 
In terms of sound signature, the i5 is more on the warmer side due its DAC, while the Pioneer is more analytical.

Dont know. I dont have a set. They are 300 ohms so I doubt many players can.
