If its not too much longer for the xdp-300r, i might just use the 100 for a month or so then sell it to a budy that needs to replace his fiio x1 and buy the new pioneer. I was looking at picking up either the fiio x7 to compare the pionerr to and selling him the x7 after i played with it for a bit, but not really sure about it when i think the pioneer and onkyo are better. What do you guys and gals think? How does the fiio x7 compare?

Well it just arrived from overseas. Just signed for from Dhl. Charging at this moment and doing the startup configurations. Will post pics and impressions later. I was foolish to put my google credientals in like i usually would with any android device now email is active. Dont need email on this device. Any way to not have it and still have the store?  probably just go to email app and delete the account from there.

I'm new to the world of Hi-Res audio.  I'm looking at purchasing the XDP-100R but wondering how well it will work with Noise Cancelling headphones.  I have the Bose QC15s and Bose QC20s.  Will use of Noise Cancelling headphones negate the benefit of a device such as the XDP-100R?

I would be sceptical about audible benefits from HiRes if that is your only reason for buying a DAP.
