Owned the Elysiums longer than any others, and still love them.

I am poor and still dreaming but in the mean time, you know until my boat comes in

I see you as being abundant in lower-tier gear that brings you a wealth of audio pleasure, that is upliftingly shared in copious posts.

True dat but one must remember I'm not a reviewer thus all my gears have been purchased with my hard earned cash and although I've heard some really expensive pieces on tour I can't justify the ROI when my lower-tier stuff sounds so good and for sure in many cases (at least for my old ears) within 80-90% of what my stuff sounds like but if one has the means I say as so many do here just pull that trigger  :v:

Guess I'm slummin' again today:rolling_eyes:

Is it BAT technology?
Yes, I have the BAT VK-200 Solid State that drives my B&W Nautilus 804's, the VK-3i Pre Amp and VK-P5 phono pre on my Well-Tempered Amadeus table. I have replaced the EAD DAC and transport with Cambridge DAC & Transport but the rest remains the same. However just like most of my portable gear its now all ancient stuff from 1995 with exception to the Cambridge and the only reason its new is I have a good friend who refurbishes tube gear and he really wanted my 7000/1000 EAD combo. But I'm quite happy with these now
