For more than year the FH3 were my daily drivers for work on the LC-BT2. Then the FHE came out and i dug the extra bass lol. Now when i need to do loud stuff like the lawn, i reach for the FHE mostly. But once in a while the nostalgia for the FH3 hits
I was lucky enough a while ago to get a Sony Wm1a, change the region and put the Mr Walkman mod on it, add a planar, bone conduction and a dd (Imr Edp Ace) and magic!
At home and on the commute to work, a joy.
So going with 2 sets of iem’s today with my M1, both sound great but different in their own right one being single DD and the other a hybrid. Love listening to 10/12 songs on one pair and then the same ones again on the other pair
Ace Bee over in the "Show off your iem's" thread inspired me to go wooden after posting his new Shanlings which are as his post says "Stunning" (Check'em out)
Tonight listening session, featuring the Final A3000 and 7Hz Timeless out of the Lotoo P6K, two affordable sets that have gathered a bit of dust lately. What a mistake of mine!
Both IEMs deliver fantastic sound, each in their own way. The right tips and cable enhance the experience.
I could walk away from the hobby with those three and not missing anything out.
Time to compare some DAPs again . I'm no expert, and my ears might not be the best after working in steel for 20 years... Call me crazy, but to my ears, the R2R of the Hiby comes quite close to the Tube sound of the SP2000T
