Pictures of Your Portable Rig (part XVI)

It was all the stellar reviews and comments on the R3 Pro Saber that got me to finally order one, killing me being on the AliEx slow train from China on receiving it
Mine has had 3 months use now, been very happy. Better to use at work than dongle, less parts that can get broken since I have physical work.

Only small problem I had was some of my library not showing the album art. Had to rewrite the files with a lower resolution picture.

Sound quality and power has been great, specially for something this small.

Thank you!
This is truly an incredible case. It feels great in the hand and has become an instant favorite of mine, although until now I've been using the one with the luxurious crocodile back and it also feels great in the hand. However, I guess I got used to it a bit. And besides, it seems that I have run out of players for 4 cases)
That's a handsome collection of cases. I only recently purchased my WM1Z and missed out on the custom cases that were available, only TPU and siliconoptions now.

Hinched of red just makes the bass that much more dynamic and tasteful

The 'Ghostbuster'(because it looks like the ghost trap seen in the old movies & cartoons)...
Questyle Qp2R (Focal Special Edition Model) > Alo Audio short optical cable > xDuoo XD-05 > Focal Elegia Upgraded Cable > Focal Elegia

I'd usually do this rig thru analog (on my Aune B1) since the Qp2r has exceptional SQ. But these players have a flaw as they get older with the dual 3.5/optical jack where the analog doesn't always 'pop on' immediately due to overuse. To preserve the player in the lack of Questyle repair servicing with it I'll just use optical out since its consistently works. Still pure deliciousness...

also, Shanling M0pro. Smaller, cuter, and a color match :)

I mean the R2R2000 has bluetooth so you can stream music directly to it. It doesn't make sense to send it to another DAP to then wire the received signal to the R2R2000.

Unless you have a library on a large memory card on an attached player (Hiby or Shanling) and transfer it from there to the R2R2000, which works as a USB DAC. And you control playback from a smartphone via Hiby Link or the Shanling app.
In this way, it will be possible to bypass the system problems of R2R2000 playback regarding the number of files, etc., organizing convenient management and not losing quality.

I am using the other player as a direct wired transport with a 1 TB card though and using the transport os

@RONJA MESCO @Podster Your awesome portable combo stacks reminded me of something I tried recently that surprised me! The Xduoo XP-2 Pro is such a versatile little DAC/AMP.
