The cable? It's nice and pliable, doesn't have a bunch of memory from being wound up in a case, and sounds exactly the same as the red upgrade cable that comes with the FATFreq Scarlets. But that stock cable is stiff and less usable imo.
Thanks! I have seen this cable (and its rebranded sisters and brothers) many times on Ali Express and have always wondered how it is. Recently some shops offer it for 9$! Might order one for myself…

Wow, $9 for that cable is crazy good. Can't go wrong at that price.

That was my thought! Now you convinced me even more 😆I think some shops recently discounted it because they now offer the multiplug version for the price of the original 👌

I have two of these now. One has already lasted two years since I've had it.
I'll tell them apart by the date of manufacture (March 1993, or July 1993, Osaka, Japan), and general wear and tear, since the new one is a little less scuffed.

Heard from some reviewers N3Ultra is bit soft in Bass delivery and dynamics? What's your assessment on that?
Hi..For me the best tuning, is with Tube modern..I like more than classic..It emphasizes the bass a little too much...but it's still very early...it just arrived today

But the Cayin N3ultra HAS A STELLAR SOUND for my tastes

Best regards

Sisco
