I read the AliE link and it said it was so you had both a 3.5mm and a 4.4mm on same cable for convenience and I wondered why the OP was using them at same time

The specs say the 3.5mm is for the shielding grounding which is what I recall reading elsewhere.

Maybe still my favorite iem/cable combo, the Bird and Orphy. Sounds so great through the P6 Pro. Prion4 IC was a really good addition.
