Look they have just come out with a portable air pump which mirrors the design.

I have the 1st version - this is the 2nd version with the dot matrix readout.

This is 3 years (or so) of ownership review. Battery life sucks, I can pump 6 bike tires and it will start giving me a lowbatt signal. Makes a whole lot of noise when its pumping. Heats up quite a bit after pumping 6 bike tires at 3 difference PSIs.

Planning to upgrade to the version 2. 😅

Well, it’s crowdfunded. I mean sure there are enough people at exactly this point in time that have IPods that are giving up the ghost due to battery issues. So? Maybe they will transfer over? Still it has a software that is yet to be proven. I don’t know if you remember back in 2013 there was all kinds of players that never ever get talked about anymore? Many had issues with the operation due to bugs in playback. The interfaces were slow and difficult to use.....pages and pages of complaints? Then around 2016 we had more choices other than the IPod for usability and success in tone.
I indeed remember (and still use) one of those early DAPs- bugs and all. Heck, way back when I bought that Fiio X3, Sony still refused to support FLAC. Times have changed for the better, and I'd have to think that Tangara, being open sourced, will probably see a Rockbox port- which I'd have to think folks round these parts might support.
Nonetheless, I'm not here to sell the device or anything, just thought it was interesting. Besides, I'll be saving my nickels for one of those 2TB microSD cards Kioxia just announced - https://www.techspot.com/news/101284-kioxia-2-tb-microsdxc-memory-card-finally-enters.html

Here's a pic of the mentioned player… just to stay on topic

Still a hand held air pump, to me that is amazing anyway?......I use the old fashioned ways?

My latest addition is the Fiio Jade Audio KA2. Super simple and easy when I'm on the go. We rented a cabin recently and this thing delivered some really good music while I recharged my batteries. I brought along my Kato and could not have been happier with the combo. It even drives my hd6xx beautifully!
