The Shuffle is the best player I've ever heard (flat) - the Nano and the Touch don't quite come up to that standard imo.. but still perfectly acceptable to my ears.
 
Of course, this is just my take; and I've only really been listening with the one set of iems the past 2 years.

funny, I have a friend who uses whatever Linux distro he can, but lately I notice he keeps a virtual XP inside Devian (lastest distro he was using) and he runs foobar that way

What from what I have heard, the Incase Sonics actually sound decent.

Interesting.....I don't think I have ever compared them back-to-back, but I'm happy with both.
Maybe you just need to burn it in.....

It probably just is placebo - or the fact that I find the Rock preset on the Touch and Nano quite good with my iems - better than flat - and of course that the Shuffle has no EQ settings.
