nah, just kidding. the cutout for the headphone jack on my iPhone 4 case is tiny, so i have to use it like that. i have one of the beats audio 3.5mm male to male cable on it's way as well.

The pads are from some cheap noise cancelling headphones that broke. I assume they're some rebadged generic stuff, the diameter seems to be a widely used standard (just like the 5mm nozzles on IEMs).
