The headphones are faaarrrr from hi-fi but they sound nice for the price I got them for on a Woot deal.  20 bucks and I'm happy!!!

Yeah no need for anything else i dont like the ie8s amped, sound becomes to sharp and piercing to my ears.
 
why cant you get them?

Yeah I have heard amping them are unnecessary. And the reason I cant get them is they are too expensive. Maybe for christmas haha

Ta - the D10 is kind of overkill with the SA6's (S:Flo2 does a bang up job on its own). I cant wait for these quads to arrive though. I had triples for a short while and the combo of S:Flo2 / D10 with them was sweeeeet.

Ipod Classic 160GB -> Fiio E11 -> Sennheiser HD25-1 II (not pictured). Case is a cardboard thing I made myself, though I'm not sure how durable it is - it feels quite weak in the area by the screen.

Cheers. I'm pretty pleased with the way it came out. I added the holes for the hold switch, ipod headphone socket and Fiio USB socket as an afterthought at the end and nearly crushed the whole thing in the process!
 
I'm contemplating get something similar 3D printed (if that's possible)

Here's my rig: HTC Desire HD, Creative Zen Vision:M 30Gb. Cmoy, Logitech Ultimate Ear 300, Beyerdynamic DT-990 Pro

 
Here is closer look of the Cmoy. I know, it's ugly, too big and the wiring is just awful. Also, the copper of the circuit board crumble, so I have to fix it every now and then. However, I'm about to build new, smaller and better cmoy soon.
