I'm wondering.. why is it that most uses rubber band etc? I was thinking myself if i had an amp with no display i would use velcro instead.. is that bad or its just a norm to use elastic bands to hold the things together?

That picture of my J3>Arrow they are connected with 3M 2 sided foam sticky tape. It works great. Not sure what you actually call the tape but perhaps you are familiar with my description of it.

A good double sided tape + velcro do marvels, since a good quality car type tape leaves no residues after removing.

A Sony Cybershot DSC-W55. This is an older camera now.
