Well, the C2 has current-generation BBE enhancements same as the J3/S9/i9, while the D2 had the old stuff (and the D2+ something intermediate). The C2 is also gapless, unlike the D2. Flat they sound the same as all other Cowons.

Thanks. I'm planning buy a Sansa, my iPod is getting old, and the lock button doesn't work anymore. Unfortunaly I don't have the money for the Arrow right now.

sorry mods, just think i need to add quickly, Spud and anyone else considering going lod direct without caps with imod/diymod, just because you measure no dc at the output of the amp does not mean you have input caps, could be output caps, or a DC servo. Feeding dc signal to an amp with output caps only, will not produce dc to harm headphones, but you will inflict dc on the rest of the amp, the pot can make scratchy noises and be damaged, you can kill opamps from dc building up on the input pins etc etc. 
 
if you are using your FiQ Spud, its DC coupled input and output, so any dc that goes in, goes straight in
 
so after that warning, back to your scheduled program of pics, this is not really the venue to ask these questions. sorry i just didnt think it could be left like that without a warning. generaly of course its the headphones that are in danger of damage, not the amp
