Nice set-up!

I really like the look of that amp but I just don't have any HPs that would warrant it.

Most of my headphones are powered well enough by my various DAP's, but the E11's bass boost was nice for my Grados before their cable crapped out on me, and the volume knob is perfect for the Classic. I originally bought the amp to go with the UK volume-capped Sony I had, but now I will keep it paired up with the Classic.

And that silicone skin covering the iPod also has a clear plastic bit over the screen, held in place by the skin, so the whole thing is protected. That's a relief after seeing some old iPod Videos in the local pawnshop last year with horribly scratched up screens.

I also had both FYI (still have the c30), not better, virtually exactly the same if any (STMP3780 VS STMP3770), the claim twice better is not true at all.

+ Dual mono National Semiconductor rail-to-rail high output vs Maxim opamp =
more interesting in details + much bigger soundstage + more powerful sound

I think you should mod it for a better sound

I thought the iCube was an iDevice DAC too?  If it is there wouldn't be much point; the iPod is just for storage and a GUI.

Thats not true at all.  Read up on those solutions rather than quote specs please.  I understand, you love your c60 but you are by far overstating anything on sq, not to mentionthe poor other features in comparison with the c30 ie price, sd slot, battery etc

How you like the K271 MK II?
I'm kinda thinking about getting one of them or a K240 MK II.... Have to decide on semi-open or closed and the auto-stop-playing headband switch thing.
Needing some low-mid priced cans for desk sitting.

I've owned the Sampson and Superlux. I did not like either. I've never owned the T50RP and I'm not really one who would like the characteristics of them.
I've heard the K240 and I know I like it so that's why I'm going to pull the trigger on it or the K271.

Thanks though.
