Hey I like my iPod Touch 64 gig - flash memory, awesome UI. With CLAS and RX MK2.. I just hate the UI's of the "audiophile" players, only thing I wish they would do - add hardware buttons to the ipod, otherwise its pretty damn great.

And I did kind of make hardware buttons on it too... soo.

And I did own the 601 and 801.. gone.. sold...

Pah.

Budgetphile to the max! Not much, but sounds good to me, especially to my wallet, heh. You could repeat it for about 100 bucks on Amazon, easy, or even less. It's the 2GB player, but with a 16GB microSD card. Got the player and amp fairly recently, so I'm gonna Rockbox it later today :}

I've never heard/feel so much good bass ever, bass boost to the max, not even in the XB700, without bass. but I am not much of a bass fan, cant stand it like that for more than 2 tracks.

Is the good bass the result of combining all three components in your rig or just from the UE TF10's ? I 'm also looking at SE215, HD25-1 II, or another pair of ATH-M50's (I have owned and sold the ATH-M50 and the XB700, I miss them both). External noise isolation and bass are important to me, thanks.

Been a long time lurker here and picked up a lot of knowledge from you guys before i picked up this hobby... Just decided to join and here's a 'virgin' post from a noob. Here's my setup that i take with me everywhere i go.

- 32gb iPhone 3GS used solely for the ipod function (moved on to the 4s now)
- Ordnance .25 amp/dac with a Fiio low profile LOD
- 8gb ipod touch, iphone 4s and Mac occasionally steps in as source as well.

Amp and phone is velcro-ed and all fits nicely in a $10 generic digital camera case.
Looking forward to get the RSA amps soon...  Cheers!

I always feel strange saying this, being that I'm relatively new here myself, but welcome to head-fi and thanks for posting.

The ordnance is new to me, time to research...

This is just regurgitating a platitude without consideration for the facts at hand.
