Howdee Mr. Do,
here's the link for the version of Rockbox I'm using http://www.ipodwizard.net/showthread.php?t=8585
I'm using version 7.7 But I still get freezes and hicups now and again,I switch between the RockBox and Apple firmware. In Rockbox I don't use the EQ and peak meters. Rockbox isn't optimised for the 4G ipod yet,so there will be glitches. Also if you don't use the scroll wheel much and using JBlackglass theme (found at the Rockbox web site) also helps in smoother operation without so many freeze ups. But I'm still getting occassional freezes.
Cheers,
Robert

I have that and recently upgraded to the latest itunes 7.0. I will continue to use itunes with apple lossless until rockbox is completed. I enjoy the ease of use of itunes and especialy now that it shows album art.

Thanks.

May not be as expensive as some other rigs here, but doesn't it look sweet? I give you... no, not the Apple ipod, but the iriver Orange!

My audio setup (h320 frontside)

My audio setup (h320 backside)

Ahhhh! Personal customization at its best!
So what do I win?

Excellent. Now get yourself an ALO Cotton/Silk/Jumbo and a Larocco PR2 for the ultimate set-up! Just giving you excuses to spend more money
