That's cool. I've tried the H6 before and I think they sounded great. The AK Jr. has a very good SQ especially in the mids. I've got a FiiO X1 and compare to AK Jr., the Jr. wins hands down. 
 
Of cos, this depends on your source as well. Good recordings like FLAC, ALAC or DSD files play a good part in the overall SQ.

Did them myself.  Real easy to mod Grados.

Not that I've noticed. The only thing added to the housing was a female rca plug. All the extra you see is just my male rca connectors. The cable is a modified HD650 cable.
