Yep, they are. Although I did remove the memory wire and slapped on a pair of ear guides instead.

I know, the c421 just keeps putting out the magic. One of my favorite amps ever regardless of size or style. Just amazing and tame.

Yep, everyone raved about the C5 however I never could take that step because the C421 is really and exceptional amp, I did have John and team build me my CMOY BB (in my choice of tin I sent them as well)  just for my 702's and it too is very sweet

It is a miracle that it runs those. My favorite combo for some music is the c421 and k701s. Max volume no distortion, though no bass boost or high gain.

Had to dust off the ol' Topping NX1 when I noticed how similar in size it was to the Cowon Plenue D
 
Cowon Plenue D (~$250) + Topping NX1 (~$35) + Koss KSC75 (~$15)
 
Pretty nice set up for about $300.
